Your use of minitools.design website and services signifies your acceptance of our Legal Terms, including the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. Should you disagree with these terms, you are required to discontinue your use of the service immediately.
Overview
minitools.design ("the site", "we", "us") is an independent, hand-curated directory of small tools for designers. It is run by [Full name], an individual based in [Country].
By using the site, submitting a tool or subscribing to the newsletter, you agree to the terms and practices on this page. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Terms of use
You may browse the site and share links to it freely. In return, please do not:
• scrape, copy or republish the directory, its descriptions or its curation in bulk;
• use automated tools to overload the site or its forms;
• submit spam, malware, misleading links or content you do not have the right to share;
• try to break, bypass or probe the site's security.
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it accurate and online, but we do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or up to date. We may change, pause or remove any part of the site at any time.
Tool listings and third-party links
Every tool on the site is made and owned by someone else. We are not affiliated with these tools unless we say so, and a listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee of quality, safety or availability.
• Descriptions, screenshots and pricing labels (Free, Freemium, Paid) are written by us for orientation only. Prices and features change, so always check the tool's own website.
• Links take you to third-party websites with their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for their content, security or how they handle your data.
• You use any listed tool at your own risk.
Submitting a tool
Anyone can suggest a tool through the submission form. When you submit, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you are allowed to share it.
We review every submission by hand. We decide what gets listed, where and how, and we may decline a submission without giving a reason.
Submitting is free and does not guarantee a listing, placement or timeline.
You allow us to use the tool's name, description, public screenshots and logo to present it on the site and in the newsletter.
Creators can ask us to update or remove their tool at any time by contacting us (see Contact).
Privacy policy
We collect as little personal data as possible: only what you type into our forms, plus basic technical data needed to run the site. We never sell your data.
Who processes it. The site and its forms run on Framer, which hosts the site and stores form entries on our behalf. If we start using an email or analytics service, we will name it here. Some providers may process data outside your country, under appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Your rights. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, object to or restrict how we use it, receive a copy of it, and withdraw consent at any time. Every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link. For anything else, email us (see Contact); we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children. The site is not aimed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Cookies and analytics
Right now, the site does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It may use a small number of strictly necessary cookies or local storage to work properly (for example, to remember a filter or keep the site secure); these do not require consent.
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in the future, we will update this section, list the provider and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent first.
Affiliate links and sponsored listings
The site is currently independent and not paid by any of the tools it lists.
In the future, some links may be affiliate links, meaning we may earn a small commission if you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. Some tools may also pay to be featured. When that happens:
• sponsored or featured listings will be clearly labelled as such;
• affiliate links will be disclosed on the site;
• payment will never guarantee a listing in the free directory, and our descriptions will stay our own.
Intellectual property and takedown requests
The site's design, selection, organisation and original descriptions belong to minitools.design. Tool names, logos and screenshots belong to their respective owners and are shown only to identify and describe their tools.
If you own a tool or content shown here and want it corrected or removed, email us with a link to the listing and what you would like changed. We aim to act within 7 days.
Liability, changes and governing law
To the fullest extent allowed by law, minitools.design is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site or any tool listed on it. Nothing on this page limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded.
We may update this page as the site grows. The date at the top shows the latest version; for significant changes, we will also note them on the site or in the newsletter.
These terms are governed by the laws of [Country], without affecting any mandatory rights you have where you live.
Contact
We reserve the right to amend these Legal Terms whenever necessary. The updated terms will be published on this page, along with a new “Effective Date.” By continuing to use the site after modifications, you agree to the revised Legal Terms.
